The service
CineAlert BD notifies you when movie tickets become available at Star Cineplex. We make a best effort to alert you quickly, but we cannot guarantee delivery speed, availability of tickets, or that you will be able to complete a booking.
No affiliation
CineAlert BD is independent and not affiliated with Star Cineplex. We do not sell movie tickets — we only alert you when they become available on the official Star Cineplex platform, where you complete your purchase.
Paid alerts
SMS and phone-call alerts are paid services charged per alert. Because an alert is delivered as soon as your movie becomes available, paid alerts are generally non-refundable once the watch is active, except where we fail to deliver due to our own fault. Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate contact details and not to misuse the service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform.

Auto-book Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 10 August 2026. These additional terms apply when you use the Auto-book tool, alongside the terms above.
1. What Auto-book is
Auto-book is a personal assistant that searches for and places the specific cinema booking you request, then hands you Cineplex's own secure payment link, which you complete yourself. It does not resell tickets and does not hold ticket inventory. CineAlert BD is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for Star Cineplex or Show Motion Limited. All Cineplex trademarks belong to their owners.
2. Your request & authorisation
When you use Auto-book, you request and authorise us to search for and place the specific booking you ask for, on your behalf, and to give you Cineplex's payment link to complete. You are responsible for the details you provide (name, mobile, seats, showtime) and for your own use of the service. Our booking methods and features may change over time, and these terms apply to the service however it is provided.
3. Acceptable use — personal use only
Use Auto-book only for your own personal ticket purchases. No reselling, touting, scalping, commercial resale, or booking on behalf of others for profit. Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, and comply with any applicable cinema rules.
4. No guarantee
Seats sell in real time. We do not guarantee that a seat, a specific seat, a price, or any showtime will be available, or how quickly a booking completes. A held seat may fail, expire, or be released, including within our short hold window. Payment windows are set by Cineplex and SSLCommerz, not by us.
5. Payment & refunds
Payment for tickets is taken by Cineplex through SSLCommerz on their own secure page— we never see or store your card or mobile-wallet details. Tickets, refunds, cancellations, and disputes about a ticket are governed by Cineplex's policies; we do not issue ticket refunds. Auto-book itself is currently provided free of charge; we may introduce a service fee in future, on notice, and these terms will continue to apply.
6. Your information
We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Where you connect account details for booking, they are stored encrypted and used only to carry out the bookings you request.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Auto-book is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for Cineplex's systems, pricing, availability, or outages. To the maximum extent permitted by Bangladesh law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from Auto-book is limited to the service fees you paid us for the transaction in question, and in any case not more than BDT 5,000. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, a missed show, or seats not obtained.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold CineAlert BD harmless from any claims, losses, or costs arising out of your use of Auto-book, your breach of these terms, or your misuse of a cinema account.
9. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
10. Changes
We may update these Auto-book terms. When we do, the version and date change and we ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Auto-book. Continued use after acceptance means you agree.
