Refund Policy

What you pay for

Email alerts are free. Paid alerts (phone call, and WhatsApp when available) are charged once per alert. You are paying us to watch Star Cineplex and notify you the moment tickets for your chosen movie go on sale — not for the tickets themselves, which you buy on the official Star Cineplex platform.

Full refund on system failure

If your paid alert fails to reach you because of a fault on our side, you get a full refund. This covers, for example:

  • Tickets for your movie became available but we never sent your alert.
  • A technical failure on our side (our checker, notifier, or calling system) stopped the alert from going out.
  • We charged you but the watch was never actually activated.
  • You were charged more than once for the same alert.

We keep delivery logs for every alert, so we can verify these cases quickly.

When a refund does not apply

  • We delivered your alert as designed (the call connected or the email/message was sent).
  • The contact details you gave were wrong or unreachable (e.g. an invalid or switched-off number).
  • You missed or did not act on the alert, or tickets sold out before you booked — we alert you, we do not reserve or sell tickets.
  • Star Cineplex changed, rescheduled, or cancelled the show.

How to request a refund

Email rahasyamayigalpa@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge with the email address on your account and the movie you set the alert for. We review the delivery logs and, if it qualifies, approve the refund.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment gateway (SSLCommerz). Refunds usually complete within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
